At Kitchenwarewala.in, we strive to deliver quality products and a smooth shopping experience. This Refund and Return Policy explains the conditions under which returns, replacements, cancellations, and refunds may be accepted.

Kitchenwarewala.in is owned and operated by Laxmi Kitchen Emporium.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Refund and Return Policy.

1. Return Eligibility

We accept return or replacement requests only in the following cases:

  • The product delivered is damaged in transit
  • The product delivered is defective or not working properly on arrival
  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The product has missing parts or accessories

Return or replacement requests will not be accepted for reasons such as:

  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Customer does not like the product
  • Customer ordered the wrong item, size, color, or variant
  • Minor color or design variation due to screen display, brand update, or packaging change
  • Delay caused by courier or unforeseen logistics issues after dispatch

2. Time Limit for Reporting Issues

Any issue related to damage, defect, wrong item, or missing item must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.

Requests made after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.

3. Proof Required for Return or Replacement

To process a return or replacement request, the customer must provide:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the product
  • Clear photos of the package and shipping label
  • Unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened

Important: Claims for damaged, missing, or wrong items may be rejected if an unboxing video is not provided.

4. Product Condition for Return

A return or replacement will only be considered if the product is:

  • Unused
  • Undamaged by the customer
  • Returned with original packaging, tags, accessories, manuals, and invoice if available

Products that are found to be used, washed, altered, broken due to misuse, or returned without original packaging may be rejected.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return or refund unless received damaged or defective:

  • Used products
  • Opened or tampered products
  • Products damaged after delivery due to misuse or mishandling
  • Clearance, sale, promotional, or special-offer items
  • Made-to-order, custom, or special procurement items
  • Items where hygiene, safety, or personal-use conditions apply after opening

6. Replacement Policy

Where eligible, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund, depending on product availability and the nature of the issue.

If the same product is not available, we may offer:

  • A replacement with a similar product, or
  • A refund, at our sole discretion

7. Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed only if a return or cancellation is approved by us.

Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 working days after approval. The actual credit time may vary depending on the bank or payment provider.

The following charges are generally non-refundable:

  • Shipping charges
  • Cash on Delivery charges, if applicable
  • Payment gateway charges, where applicable

8. Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.

Once an order has been packed, handed over to the courier, or marked as dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

If a customer refuses to accept a prepaid order after dispatch without a valid reason, refund may be rejected or shipping and handling charges may be deducted.

9. Failed Delivery / Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address, phone number, and PIN code at the time of placing the order.

If an order is delayed, returned, or undelivered due to incorrect address, unavailable recipient, or repeated non-contact by the customer, any refund will be subject to deduction of shipping, handling, and return courier charges.

10. Return Pickup

For eligible return cases, we may arrange pickup depending on service availability in your area.

If return pickup is not available, the customer may be required to self-ship the product to the address shared by us.

Return shipping reimbursement, if any, will be at our sole discretion and only for approved cases.

11. Inspection and Approval

All returned items are subject to inspection after they are received by us.

Approval or rejection of return, replacement, or refund will be based on the actual condition of the product and verification of the issue reported by the customer.

Our decision after inspection shall be final in case of misuse, false claim, incomplete item return, or damaged return package.
